The inaugural meeting of the China-Italy Delicacy Silk Road Education Alliance and the opening ceremony of the 2019 China-Italy Food Culture Week hosted by TCZJ were held in Tourism College of Zhejiang on 14th November 2019.
Maria Moreni, Chairman of the Italian-China Link, GU Jianxin, deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, SHEN Jian, chairman of the Zhejiang Catering Industry Association, DU Lanxiao, president of TCZJ, and vice president WANG Fang attended the opening ceremony.
During the theme forum, the Chinese and Italian guests discussed the theme of "The Road to the Integration of Chinese and Italian Food and Culture in the" Belt and Road Initiative" Framework.
It is generally believed that in the context of the “Belt and Road Initiative”, the road to the fusion of Chinese and Italian food culture must integrate the advantages of Chinese and Italian food culture, innovate cooperation models, and build a platform for mutual learning and development of civilizations.
The 2019 China-Italy Food Culture Week event will be held in one week from 14-18th of Nov., during which the China-Italy culinary skills exchange meeting, China-Italy food film exhibition and broadcast, China-Italy culinary teaching exchange activities, TCZJ and Italian ALMA International Culinary Institute cooperation memorandum signing ceremony, Inauguration Ceremony of Italian ALMA Training Base, and Italian Food Tasting and other activities will proceed.
